Smartphone  Maker Oppo has launched its first smartphone in the new K series in its home country, China. Oppo K1, the smartphone comes with a starting price of CNY 1,599 and comes with features like in-display fingerprint reader, notch display and a 3D glass back.

Specifications of Oppo K1


The smartphone features a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2340 pixel resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Oppo K1 comes with 91% screen-to-body ratio and 3D glass back.

Powered by 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, the device runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The handset comes in two different variants -- 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage.

For imaging duties, the smartphone boasts of a 25-megapixel front camera for selfies. The dual rear camera setup includes 16-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor.

The handset is backed by 3600mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and GLONASS.


Price of Oppo K1


The newly-launched smartphone is already up for pre-orders in China and will go on sale from October 19. The handset is priced at CNY 1,599 and CNY 1,799 for the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variant. This roughly translates to Rs 17,000 and Rs 19,000 respectively. Oppo K1 comes in two colour options -- Mocha Red and Van Gogh Blue.
