OnePlus 6T users are now receiving OxygenOS 9.0.6 with unlocked improvement and others

OnePlus has just announced a new update for it’s latest flagship smartphone in the market, the OnePlus 6T. This new update brings the version of OxygenOS to version 9.0.6. Manu J, the OnePlus staff member who is in charge of the Open Beta program and developer relations posted a dedicated post on the official OnePlus forums. According to the details on the post, the new update comes with improvements in a number of aspects of the ROM ranging from the system, communication, third-party apps to the camera department of the device.

Taking a closer look at the changelog, OxygenOS 9.0.6 for OnePlus 6T improves the device unlocking experience while optimizing the standby power consumption of the device. Like almost all the software updates, this one also comes with a number of bug fixes and improvements. The update fixes problems while adding an APN on the Verizon network in the United States.
OnePlus has also fixed another issue where Google Play Store was not giving any notifications to the device. Last, but probably the most significant part of this update, is optimizations to the image processing. This likely means that the device improves the camera quality, but the degree of improvements is yet to be checked.
