Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro: Specifications and Price

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro can easily be dismissed as the Redmi Note 5 Pro with a notched display and dual front camera setup. However, the company has done a lot of changes under the hood that makes it a worthy upgrade from its predecessor.
In terms of design, we are looking at same aluminum unibody design with vertically stacked dual rear camera setup and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. At the front, there is a notch which seems to be as wide as the one seen on Apple iPhone X but the chin seems to have been trimmed further. The smartphone sports a 6.26-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and water repellent P2i coating.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. The real change, however, is in the camera department. It sports dual rear camera setup with a primary 12-megapixel sensor with wider f/1.9 aperture and support for dual-pixel autofocus. It is aided by a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 for depth mapping and 3D effects.

At the front, we are looking at a combination of 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual cameras. The addition of the depth sensor allows for adjusting bokeh after the image is shot and you can also add effects like studio lighting and other GIF-worth effects called light trails. The Redmi Note 6 Pro runs MIUI 10 based on Android Oreo, and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. It will be offered in black, blue, red and rose gold finish.
